E-mail Print PDF

Reserve Deputy Sheriff Jim L. Immel died on the 10th of February after a prolonged illness.  His career began in 1981 as a RLEO with the Warr Acres PD.  He became a Reserve Deputy with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office in 1986, and became patrol certified in 1988.  Jim commanded the event team, which is the largest unit withint the Reserve Division.  During his 30-year career, he served the citizens of Oklahoma County selflessly and faithfully.  Jim's total and unwaivering commitment to the Reserve Division, and to OCSO, was legendary.  He wll be missed by all.  His wife Gracie requests donations to OCSO's HOPE team in lieu of flowers.
