The Council for Law Enforcement Reserves (CLER) is a professional fraternal organization created to promote law enforcement reserve programs. We provide current news, collect relevant information and statistics and provide professional services to our members.
Reserve Officers include auxiliary, special, reserve and part-time law enforcement officers and other agency volunteers. We especially welcome retired and former RLEOs—many career professionals began their service in reserve programs. This website—ReserveCop.Com™—is designed by the Council to facilitate communication between RLEOs and promote networks throughout Reserve Country. Membership is free to all reserve, full time and administrative support law enforcement professionals.
Through this site and its other activities, CLER promotes the professionalization of reserve programs, equal treatment, training and equipping of RLEOs and the continued use and expansion of reserve programs by federal/national, state/provincial, county and municipal agencies.
